FROM THERE BIS HIER produced for Biest Fest at Spaces Between in Nuremberg last December! The performance wanted to connect the hidden rhythms of London’s urban environment with Nurnberg’s one while trying to physically deconstruct the unique space of Spaces Between and its iconic floor tiles exploring the performing possibilities within it.ù The performance started outside and involved sounds of railings hit by a stick recorded in London and
reproduced by small speakers inside a bag, the audience could hear the recorded sounds together with the actual sound of me hitting the railings and bicycles outside the venue to then move on a live set with a hanging modular synthesiser. Some of the floor tiles were hanging too from metal wires and served as an instrument activated by hittin them like (the room exploded and turned in an instrument). partly inspired by Francis Alys and partly by Gigi d'Agostino
