SubPhonics is a sound art collective that was formed in January 2019 as a space for experimental musicians and artists to collaborate and meet via weekly improvisation sessions. Today SubPhonics plays in London and internationally for festivals and events creating new collaborations with visual artists and performers.  SubPhonics values a community focused and facing approach to experimental art, and aims to be non-exclusionary and non-hierarchical in its structuring. All members are engaged to actively propose and develop projects and ideas to have the backing of the collective behind them.
