Their Blood
Designed and performed by Giulio Dal Lago and Naz Balkaya
Via dynamic actions and interactions with the public, the two artists investigate the concepts of love and its precarious stability within a capitalist, fast-paced society that focuses mainly on productive and efficient models. Their Blood challenges the saturated, controlling patterns those neoliberal policies apply to our bodies and emotions, via dominant bio-political relations that affect our everyday lives - so that we end up living in 'their blood'. Ultimately, the work speaks also about the love-hate relationship for the city that these artists live in and have chosen as their home.
