Benvenut*

Site-specific performance crafted for Alt_R unique space. Bones found in the Thames river were used both as part of the garments, made in collaboration with artists Song Xin, and as performative elements. Hidden under the layer of soil, the bones were found and re-composed in a "doll" as a ritual of purification of a poisoned pond. Heart beats sounds from audience member were collected with a contact microphone to give life to the doll, which was buried with the pond as an ending to the ritual.
